BPT heat-shrinkable wraparound sleeves are made of polyolefin and a hot-melt adhesive. They are used for restoring cable and wire insulation, as well as for constructing traditional cable joints in both the power and telecommunications industries. In addition to a high-quality hot-melt adhesive, BPT heat-shrinkable sleeves feature a surface coated with a thermochromic paint; once the optimal temperature for shrinking is reached, this surface turns uniformly black.
