Purpose - D series BiWts fuses with fast Gf characteristic are designed to protect electrical, signaling and control circuits from short circuit and excessive electric current. BiWtz fuses with slow gG characteristic are intended to protect electrical installations from temporary overload. For example, starting an electric motor.
